  10. Get 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  11. Make ready 1 tsp Roasted cumin seeds powder
  12. Get 1 tsp Chat masala
  13. Take 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
  14. Prepare 1 tbsp Pomegranate seeds for garnishing(optional)
  15. Prepare 5-7 Roasted cashewnuts: for garnishing
Instructions to make Dahi Bhalla:
  1. First of all wash urad dal and moong dal 2 to 3 times. - Then after soak both the dal for 3 to 4 hours. - Drain out water from it. - Now coarsely blend it in mixy and make a smooth batter. - Check out that batter should be very fluffy and light texture wise.
  2. Add salt and green chilli and ginger paste to it. - Now beat the paste for 3 to 5 minutes continuously by adding baking soda to it. - Keep it aside for 10 minutes. - Again stir this batter occasionally.
  3. Now heat the pan. - Add oil to it. - Make medium size vadas and deep fry it on medium flame. - Now drop all the vadas in lukewarm water. - Let it be in water for 10 minutes.
  4. Now squeeze between palms to remove water from wadas. - Arrange it in a plate. - Now take dahi and beat it or whip it continuously till it becomes semi liquid paste(batter). - Now add salt and sugar to it and mix it well.
  5. Take a plate. - Arrange wadas. - Pour dahi on it. - Now garnish it with meetha chutney,green chutney,cumin powder,red chilli powder,coriander leaves,chat masala,pomegranate and cashewnuts. - And enjoy this mouthwatering dish friends.
