  10. Make ready 1 1/2 cup chilled heavy whipping cream

  12. Take Sweetened whipped cream

Instructions to make Grasshopper Pie:
  1. FOR OREO CRUST
  2. Combine oreo crumbs and melted butter,press in a 9'inche pie crust and up sides.
  3. Bake in a 350 oven for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly crisp, cool
  4. FOR PIE FILLING
  5. In a saucepan combine the 1/2 cup heavy cream with marshmallows, cook over medium heat stirring all the time until melted. Transfer to a bowl, add cream de menthe and cream de cocoa and cool to room temperature.
  6. In a large chilled bowl beat the 1 1/2 cups chilled heavy cream to soft peaks, beat in cooled marshmallow mixture until thick and blended, mound into pie crust and chill for 8 hours or overnight to set.
  7. GARNISH with sweetened whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.

The focus of the holidays is usually all about the cookies. I will state for the record that I though this pie was wonderful. The texture is creamy and melts in your mouth. DIRECTIONS Place wafer crumbs in large bowl, then stir in butter until evenly moist. I just love the combination of a creamy minty ice cream filling combined with a brownie-like chocolate crust so much.
