- Make ready 2 bowl Urad Flour
- Make ready 2 Bowl Wheat Flour
- Prepare 3 Bowl Jaggery Grated
- Prepare 1 Bowl Methi
- Get 2 Cups Chopped Mixed Dryfruits (Almonds, Pistachios, Walnuts)
- Take 1/4 Cup Gund
- Take 1/2 bowl Ghee
- Make ready 4 Tsp Dry Ginger Powder
- Take 4 Tsp Ganthoda Powder
- Prepare 2 Tsp Black Pepper powder
- Make ready 2 Tsp Cardamon powder
- Take 1 Stick Cinnamon
- Make ready 1 1/2 Tsp Nag kesar
- Take 1 Tsp Khuskhus
- Get 2 Pieces Javantri
Sukhdi is a staple snack like biscuits available in most of the Gujarati households. It is also cooked on auspicious days or on festivals. Originally from Gujarat, it is also cooked in Rajasthan. It is all called as gorpapdi.
Instructions to make Methi sukhdi:
- Roast Gund in 2 tsp Ghee. Grind it.
- Roast both the flours in remaining ghee on kiw flame for 20 to 25 minutes till turns pinkish coloured.
- Add Chopped Nuts to it and roast for few more minutes.
- Roast all Dry Masala, Methi separately and grind them.
- Take jaggery in a pan add 1/2 cup water and make 2 strands syrup from it. Add few Kesar strands to jaggery. We can put drops of jaggery syrup in a small dish and check. If the drops don't change shape when the dish in slant direction, our syrup is done.
- Add jaggery syrup to the mixture and mix well. Keep on folding it for few minutes
- Transfer the content to a thalia or molding tray. Let it cool for 10 minutes. Make marking for pieces.
- Let it set for 3-4 hours. Store the pieces in airtight container.
Originally from Gujarat, it is also cooked in Rajasthan. It is all called as gorpapdi. Methi ladoo is very easy to make. Methi ladoo is very beneficial to health it helps to lose weight , lower the rate of heart disease and many more. Sukhdi is a very quick to make sweet and tastes so good.
