The ingredients needed to make Chicken Mughlai:
  1. Prepare 500 gm chicken
  2. Prepare 6-7 onions
  3. Make ready 4 Tomatoes
  4. Make ready 1 cup curd
  5. Take 1/2 cup milk cream

  7. Make ready 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  8. Get 2 red chilli dried

  12. Prepare 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  13. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  14. Get 1 tsp Chicken masala
  15. Prepare 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  16. Prepare 5-6 almonds
  17. Take 5-6 cashew nuts
  18. Get 1 Bay leaf
  19. Prepare 1 inch cinnamon stick
  20. Make ready As needed Oil
  21. Prepare 1 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves
  22. Make ready 1 tsp Coriander leaves
  23. Get 2 cups water
Instructions to make Chicken Mughlai:
  1. Wash chicken in hot water and marinate it by adding curd, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt..keep it aside for at least 15 mins(call it marinated chicken)
  2. On the other hand..heat a pan and roast cumin seeds, fennel seeds, Coriander seeds, almonds, cashew nuts, dried red chillies and garlic…after roasting it grind this masala and keep aside.(Call it mughlai masala)
  3. Cut the onions and fry it until it turns brown…and grind it along with Tomato.(Call it onion tomato paste)
  4. In a pressure cooker add oil after that add bay leaf and cinnamon…add marinated chicken and fry it for 5-6 mins…after that add fresh cream of milk and again keep frying for 3-4 mins
  5. Add onion tomato paste and mix well when oil will appear at top add garam masala red chilli powder salt and chicken masala cook it for 4-5 mins
  6. Add mughlai masala and cook it for 8-9 mins…after that add water mix well and pressure cook it for 15 mins
  7. Garnish with Coriander leaves and dried fenugreek leaves
  8. Note: you can skip tomato it is optional… actually in chicken Mughlai no need of tomato but because I like it's taste so I have added it..you can skip further recipe will b same…
