  1. mix all ingredients for glaze sauce together in a bowl. place off to side for future use.
  2. Add 4 tbsp of oil to skillet (coconut or vegetable) then add all ingredients in and mix on medium to high heat.
  3. once onions are tender add in glaze sauce. cook on medium heat and stir occasionally for 20 min.
