This Besan Poori curry is also called as Bombay chutney. I really don't know that this recipe is called Bombay chutney until my Grand Father told me.he told me while I was writing content this morning. This is recipe is originated in Maharashtra.this recipe is adapted by us with few. 'Bombay Chutney' is basically 'Besan Chutney' which is prepared as a combination for usually Dosa , Poori and Chapathy in South India. I personally like it with soft and fluffy Atukula dosa and chapathy.

Steps to make Vegetable besan curry for poori /Dosa:
  1. Take small cooker and add some oil. Prepare for tempering. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, pinch of hing, green chilli slits.
  2. Add onions, chopped potato, tomato, baby corn. Saute them well and add some turmeric powder.
  3. Add some water to veggies to cook them well.
  4. Take a separate small bowl. Take besan and mix it with water to make it slurry.Add this slurry to cooked vegetables.
  5. Add 1 tbsp coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt to taste.
  6. Now close the lid of cooker and cook until one whistle.
  7. Vegetable besan curry is now ready to serve. It tastes good with poori or Dosa.
