  1. Take For the Sambhar powder :
  2. Take 1 tbsp Dry coconut
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp Urad dal

  15. Make ready 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  16. Get as needed Ghee
  17. Take 1 Green chillies
  18. Take 1 Onion small
  19. Take 2 Tomatoes medium

Instructions to make Sambhar:
  1. Take the ingredients for powder, roast them and put them in the blender. Grind them in to powder.
  2. Take toor dal soaked well, add 3-4 times the water, and add the chopped vegetables. Whistle out 2-3 times in cooker. Or the veggies can be boiled separately too for not over cooking them.
  3. Take a pan add ghee and add in mustard seeds, curry leaves chillies and chopped onion. Stir them until light brown, then add tomatoes and nicely mix all in to great mix
  4. Add the dal and vegetable mix if more water required boil and add.
  5. Sambhar is ready.
  6. Healthy and can have with rice
