Oil gives the dosa golden brown colour althoug it is optional. Dosa is cooked by only one side. As it gets cooked put the filling i.e. the potato mixture at the center of the dosa and fold it form both sides.

- First add washed dal and veggies in a cooker add 2 cup water and boiled it
- After boiled mashed properly
- Heat oil in a wok mustard seeds and curry leaves when crackle add chopped onion and saute it
- After saute add crushed garlic add all spices and saute till leave the oil
- Now add boiled dal and cook on low flame for 10 minute
- Add tamarind pulp mix well
- Serve with masala dosa
