Steps to make Mutton ummukulsu:
  1. Heat pressure cooker in medium flame. Pour 30ml oil. Add ginger garlic chilli paste. Add rambaleaves
  2. Sauté it for a min. Add onion chopped sauté until turn in to light brown. Now you can add tomato and shallots chopped.
  3. Add all powders in to it in low flame sauté for a min. Now add mutton mix it well
  4. And wait for two min. Add 1 inch cinnamon stick. (and add 20 ml water if the gravy is dry)
  5. Close the lid. And cook it in medium flameand wait for 2-3 whisle. Turn off the flame and allow the pressure to release naturally.
  6. Adjust salt and keep until the mutton is cooked soft. If you feel the mutton is not cooking well, cook closed to speed up the process.
  7. In a heavy bottomed pan heat in a medium flame, pour above mixture stir it well. - The curry will be little watery, icook on an open flame until your desired consistency is reached. - When the mutton has roasted and most of the water has been cooked off, add remaining oil.
  8. Stir well until curry changed to brown color. You can add coriander leaves for garnishing.
  9. Ready to serve 😍
