The ingredients needed to make Wedding Cake:
  1. Prepare 1 Your favorite Buttercream icing
  2. Make ready 1 Wiltons Fondant
  3. Take 1 Wooden Dowels
  4. Make ready 3 box 1-4 boxes of Your favorite cake mix
  5. Prepare 1 Cardboard cake bottoms
Steps to make Wedding Cake:
  1. Follow Directions for your favorite cake mix in different sized cake pans, baking two pans of each size.
  2. While baking prepare the buttercream according to directions (my favorite is on the back of the powdered sugar boxes)
  3. Cool cakes and cut the tops flat
  4. Spread a layer of buttercream on one side of each cake sizes and sandwitch together with the second cake of each size.
  5. Put each on corresponding cake boards.
  6. Cover each tier in a light crumb coat of buttercream and refridgerate over night.
  7. Next, after refrigerating over night, roll out Fondant and cover each tier.
  8. Cut 5 wooden dowels to height of each tier and place in the middle of each.
  9. Lastly, stack and decorate with ribbon, fresh flowers, icing, or fondant accents!
