- Heat a wok/kadhai,add oil, mustard seeds,let it splutter,add cumin seeds, asafoetida,green chillies, curry leaves and add onions,saute till becomes translucent…cook on a low flame..
- Add the dry spices(turmeric,dhania-jeera powder,red chilli powder)saute well.
- Add tomatoes,saute till becomes soft and add the okras and cook on open without lid by stirring occasionally..
- Cook for 10-12mins.till soft and Switch off the flame.
- Okra stir fry is ready to serve wdh chapati,phulkas or dal-rice combo.
