Instructions to make Spider Cup Cakes:
- First sieve the dry ingredients - maida, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder. Add baking soda at last. Mix all of the ingredients.
- To the mixture add 1/3 cup refined oil and mix it well. Add 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence. Now add a total 1/2 cup of milk adding a little bit in batches.
- Add little more milk if ribbon consistancy is not observed.
- Lastly add baking soda add vinegar. Stir it well in one direction.
- Now add the batter in cup cake mould. But it and bake it in the oven.
- If you don't have a cupcake mould then add it into a greased cake tin. Bake it. Now take a small katori and cut the circles. Some cake sides will be remaining. You can make cake pops of that. See this recipe. - (see recipe)
- Now for ganache add 1/2 cup of chocolate that add 2 tbsp cream. Melt it using the microwave / double boiler method. Add 1 tbsp of butter it. Stir it continuously until the smooth and shiny texture is observed.
- Now let the ganache cool a little. Don't let it cool too much or else will become too stiff.
- Now spread a tbsp of ganache over all cupcakes and cover it with ganache all over the cake.
- Now take some Oreo biscuits and seprate thier cream.
- Break the Oreo biscuit in a little leg shape and put it over the sides of cupcake
- Now add different food colour for making eyes from the seprated cream from Oreo.
- Make two small balls and put them at top of cupcake
- Put the cup cake in refrigerator for ganache to harden
