- Knead a slightly tight dough with wheat flour, salt to taste and water.
- Make small balls from the kneaded dough
- Be ready with the ingredients for the stuffing
- In a kadai, heat ghee add dessicated coconut, jaggery. Mix well. Saute on low flame. Let the jaggery melt.
- Add nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and chopped banana
- Cook well till everything is properly blended together.
- Roll out chapati from the balls and place a spoonful of stuffing in the centre of the chapati.
- Seal from all the sides, roll in dry flour.
- With the rolling pin, roll out a medium thick paratha.
- Similarly do with the entire dough.
- Now heat a tawa, cook the paratha from both the sides by applying ghee.
- When cooked properly from both the sides, remove it on a serving plate. Garnish with chopped banana slices and dessicated coconut. Serve it hot to enjoy the melt in mouth parathas.
