Steps to make Awadhi Chicken Korma:
  1. Marinate chicken with salt and curd for an hour.Soak poppy seeds and cashewnuts in warm milk.Make a paste of it alongwith cream or malai and 1 green chilli.Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a wok and fry the onion golden brown.Cool and make a paste of it.
  2. Shake the marinade from the chicken and fry in oil golden brown.Sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala and when they splutter,add the ground paste. Also add ginger garlic paste,tomato puree,chopped pudina (mint),kasoori methi, kitchen king masala,kashmiri lal mirch,turmeric and salt to taste.Toss all and add little water as needed as chicken releases water.
  3. Cook on low flame till masala coats chicken.Sprinkle 1 tbsp ghee and garnish with chopped mint and coriander.
